My name is Paul Cockroft.  I have been practising as a counsellor for twelve years.  I have an established private practice where I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space for my clients.

I have worked, successfully with clients with a large range of presenting issues, such as: addictions, anxiety, relationship issues, traumatic episodes, sexual abuse, life changing events such as bereavements, divorces and separations and issues around identity and sexuality.

Welcome

Who is counselling for?

You may benefit from counselling if you identify with any of the following:

  • Finding it difficult to cope with the demands of life and the expectation of others.

  • Experiencing an underlying sense of sadness and dissatisfaction.

  • You have experienced a life-changing event such as bereavement or a change in your financial circumstances, and finding it difficult to cope.

  • You are at a turning point in your life and finding it difficult to move forward.

  • You recognise unhealthy patterns of behaviour that keep repeating.  “Why do I have difficulty sustaining a relationship?” or       “Why am I repeatedly drawn to unhappy ones?”

  • You feel you are experiencing a transitional stage in your life.  Perhaps you feel you are not fulfilling your true potential?

  • Do you find it difficult to express the way you feel in a healthy way?

Location

I work at several premises located in the High Wycombe, Aylesbury and Chesham areas all accessible by bus and on street parking.
